Review: Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle 12% Glycolic AHA Soothing Vitamins & Anti-Irritants

I've been using this product for roughly two months (purchased from ULTA  for $16.99 I believe) and it's pretty darn good!  It is extremely gentle and I always wake up with a glow.  I stopped using my retinoid for awhile because I didn't feel like I was seeing any better results and my skin just didn't look as plump as it used to.  Of course it could have all been in my head, but hey! This product has really helped with my malasma, maybe even better than the retinoid.  It leaves my skin soft and plump.  The concentration of glycolic acid is pretty high for an over-the-counter product.  What's even better is that it's the second ingredient on the list!

Most important is that I have not broken out and it really seems to be working.  I don't know if you can ask for more in an over-the-counter product.  I will eventually speak to my dermatologist about a prescription strength one, but in the meantime, this is working just fine!

  1. Sounds good!

  2. A glycolic acid cream works well as a daytime moisturizer on oily skin
