So, tonight I was exploring YouTube because I'm in need of a great how-to-fill-in-your-eyebrows video. After viewing more than I care to count, I came upon this one by Cleverlyme. The thing that makes this video SOOOOO different from all the others is that she used MAC Fix+ on the angled brush before applying the powder. Oh my goodness! It made all the difference in the world (yes, I went and tried it immediately and have the pictures to prove it!). So, take a look at the video at the end of the post. You won't be disappointed!
The products that I used were: MAC eyeshadow in Embark, MAC Fix+, an angled brush, eyebrow brush and a concealer that is about two shades lighter than your skin. I used Black Radiance concealer in Toast (#3). It's the only lighter one I have lying around. The concealer is used to highlight the eyebrow (above and below) and makes it look like they have just been freshly waxed!
One brow done, the other undone. Look at the difference. I'll discuss why my brows are sooo thin in a later post. Let's just say the lady where I had them threaded at got a little thread happy!! And yes I was preparing for bed before I made this great discovery! No laughing at the head scarf!
The first draft! They aren't perfect yet, but for my first time trying, I'm quite impressed. Ignore my left brow, please! It needed some more love and attention!
