How to Make a (Delicious) Green Smoothie

Below is a simple, yet delicious recipe. I usually have one serving for breakfast every day.  Blend after adding each ingredient (in order: water, cucumber, apple, broccoli slaw, fruit cups, spinach).  One batch will last me for three days! So, get your blenders out!


Tools of the Trade:

  • blender
  • fruit peeler
  • knife
  • spoon
  • 10 oz. spinach (don't get the kind for cooking. It's a little coarser than the other)
  • 1 apple (peeled)
  • 1 cucumber (peeled. Add after water)
  • 1 bag broccoli slaw (use half the bag)
  • pineapple (1 cup)
  • peaches (2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup water (put in blender first)
