Le Pan TC 970 ReviewMarch 05, 2012
Honestly, I never intended to purchase a tablet of any sort, but while flipping through the channels, I discovered the Le Pan 9.7" LCD, 2GB Wi-Fi Tablet with Android 2.2 and App Bundle on HSN. It was only $249 with four flex pay options. Immediately, my brain starts thinking of how it might be useful. I mean, at such a great price, I couldn't pass it up!
One of the main reasons I like this tablet is because it has an Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. There was nothing new for me to learn because it's exactly like my cell phone, only bigger! It's 9.7" diameter; a little on the heavier side which I actually like because I'm not afraid that if I drop it, it's going to shatter; has Adobe Flash (unlike the Ipad); has a camera; no need for Itunes and all the other crap Apple uses to make the simplest things difficult; it's pretty darn fast; and the battery life is unbelievable.
The only things that I don't like is that there is no USB port and that it's almost impossible to find the needed accessories to go along with the tablet because they don't make them! If you order from Ebay, you'll have to get them from China and well...yeah, I don't have that much time to wait. I did purchase an Ipad case, which is not the best, but it's protecting it. I do wish they would come out with a screen protector that fits the device perfectly. Other than those few things, I'm quite happy.
Now, some of you may be thinking, well, there's already a Le Pan II out. True indeed, but I couldn't have snagged it at the flex pay option and well, I don't need the newest of everything! I mean, isn't the Ipad III about to drop as well and some of you just purchased the II?!? I'm just saying...
